2026 Fall Camp

The 2026 Fall Camp will kickoff next week with media day. It’s been a long offseason for everyone, but hope springs eternal when the calendar turns to August.

Five storylines to watch:
1. How does Malachi Singleton carry the offense and team?
2. Will the offensive line establish a strong rotation to lead an RPO offense?
3. Can the defense hold its own and force turnovers?
4. Will the change in position coaches show a positive impact? RBs, WRs, OL, DTs
5. After 3 losing seasons in the last 4 years, can a fragmented program finally come together?

Lots of questions but I think we brought in a real solid group of players. We have guys in this group that were offered more money other places and still came to app, it could pay off.

I think our oline could be improved, we have to stay healthy to really turn things around, we have injuries like last year and we are back to middling. I am calling 8 wins if we stay healthy, that would be a really solid year. ECU and NC State will both be really tough to win on the road but we have a shot in every other game. I hope we at least have respectable showings.

Dowell said at Sun Belt Media Days he feels good about tackle and that there will be competition at guard. He also feels good about edge rushers.

WRs should be improved with more speed.

Interested to see how Kanye looks after missing last season and beinf held out of the spring game.

It all boils down to the trenches...if we have a good OL and are somewhat deep we can could do great things this year

Establish run game and extend drives, close out on 3rd downs. If we can improve in those areas, we can be competitive and get to a decent bowl game.

College football teams win approximately 75% to 78% of their games when they win the turnover margin. Across broad historical data sets spanning multiple seasons at both the collegiate and professional levels, holding a positive turnover differential correlates to a victory roughly 73–79% of the time

Yes, it’s as simple as this.

I think that’s what makes me most excited with singleton. You bring in a QB like that to run the ball more, which should help all facets of the team. The gameplan from the bowl game with a capable QB is exciting.

Semi loaded in the backfield.
We’ve got returning production and what were some high rated prospects.

Do we have a depth chart yet in the backfield?

Would love for Webb and Kanye to be in the mix with Lewis and the 2 transfers heading it up. 5 deep if healthy.

If last year is an indication, we aren’t going to get a depth chart. Heck, we can’t get jersey numbers on the online roster.

I hope Kanye has a great season. Like Harrington in past years, he has suffered through injuries. I pull for kids that come back from injuries.

And we’re saying 1st year or 3rd year instead of actual class like Freshman Senior…etc.
Weird times. Doubt anyone goes to class in CFB anymore.

It would help 99% of fans know who the hell is on the team and “might” play.

This was more a question for ASUFAN869698, not an official one from the team.

I think a depth chart would help generate a little excitement and get people talking about the season. Since we don’t know the team it would help to not be completely in the dark until gameday #1

Hopefully we don’t need to have the competitive advantage of keeping Maine guessing
