Whats the story with Watkins? Did he originally leave due to academic issues?

A lot of the July updates have been added and I thought I would list each player that changed, up or down, by position, plus I'll add any of the incoming Fr classes numbers that changed from their signing day weights. If a player isn't listed then they are showing the same as they did last year. The numbers will be changing some again by camp as Coach Mike and staff are still building and tweaking players to get them to playing weight but this should give us a view of what to expect and how much some of our guys have added.

Don't believe so. Sounds more like playing time. He's been injured for a lot of his time here and wasn't seeing the field much when he wasn't hurt. Not a surprise last year with the two deep pretty well set but this year is more open until we see a 2 deep truly emerge during camp. Sometimes guys just can't wait though. Just opens up one more spot for this class.

He wasn't changed from last year which was/is 320. I'm keeping a daily watch on the roster to note any changes not already posted and will update any I see.

I like these numbers. Some of our guys that Iron Mike has been working with for several years are still gaining 5 to 40 pounds of muscle. This could be huge this year for us. Some of our DBs are the size of LBs.

I like how Iron Mike is not sacrificing speed for strength, that he is in fact incorporating it into the workouts. Anyone heard of who the fastest guys are on the team? Or by position? Also Coach Satt advised this was the quickest team he had seen in a while.

Unfortunately I believe the fastest guy on the team isn't "on the team" anymore as of this past week.

Jalen Virgil might be the fastest guy on the team, though he hasn't been enrolled long. Jake Easter is definitely up there assuming he gets his pre-ACL speed back.

That Alex Gray 40 time at his size is insane, BTW.
