FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: John Law, Appalachian State, Fr., LB, Atlanta, Ga.
Freshman John Law tied for game-high honors with 12 tackles in Appalachian State’s loss at Montana Saturday night. Law recorded three solo stops and nine assists while adding a sack for minus-one yard. Law thwarted Montana’s first drive of the game when he tackled UM’s Jordan Canada for no gain on fourth-and-one at the Appalachian State 19-yard line.

Law was also a finalist for the Defensive Player of the Week and Kameron Bryant was finalist for Offensive Player of the Week.
