Sounds like Ed Hardin wants to be JM's bed partner...... He's a hack. We aren't shell-shocked. Moore wasn't the savior and his (Hardin's) articles won't win him a Pulitzer. We lost to a team that beat us for 3 quarters. Plain and simple. We move on and wait for Eloan. App State football isn't on the brink of disaster. We aren't going to stay FCS (no matter how much some of you want that), we aren't going to lose all of our fans, enrollments aren't going to drop, the stadium will still be packed and we will roll on like we always do. Look at Michigan. Were we a better team than Michigan? Heck no, but we schemed them just right and took it to them..... just like the Aggies did us. Now, get over it folks. Move on.

You need to pass that message along to our troll - Mr. Hardin. Since when did he pay attention to us. App isn't covered by the News & Record, so why start now?

UNC beating MTSU must not have been satisfying enough.

After growing up and living in Greensboro until recently, I was subjected to Hardin's wonderful articles covering UNC and occasionally the other local sports teams. I stopped in Greensboro on my way back from Boone yesterday just to read his article after I heard some rumblings in regards to how he portrayed us. I will say this is the most attention he has given to ASU in any article he has written with the exception of the Michigan upset. Almost zero coverage of the national titles, SoCon championships, coaching changes, or conference changes. I really don't understand our lack of media coverage all across the state. At least with the Journal we have the App Trail.

I sent him a nice little tweet informing him that App has been D-I for decades and that he's a joke of a sports reporter. It won't do any good, but it felt good. I'm just glad he finally got an updated photo for his articles. We used to call him "Ned Flanders."

Two threads dedicated to this hack with an apparent agenda is more attention than he needs or deserves.

I really hope that this team is taking these articles and using them as locker room motivation. Hopefully this can contribute to creating a chip on a lot of our players shoulders for additional motivation to prove everyone wrong.

We could use a little bit of that right now....
