Between them, Georgia Southern and Appalachian State have won nine FCS national championships and played in two other title games. While they are likely to have an adjustment period to I-A football, the Eagles and Mountaineers also have the potential to be the next Marshall or Boise State."

Despite the kind words, he is not very high on the Sun Belt, ranking it last of the mid-majors going forward.
