Complain away.
I agree with the grey/black combo. I'm just glad these are "alternates." Though, they don't look THAT much different from our current jersey, other than the font. The helmet is the big difference.EastHallApp wrote:Not a huge fan of the dark gray on black, but otherwise pretty good. Very cool helmet.

Blah blah blah, I'm an old man whose out of touch with what appeals to 18-22 year olds.JCline0429 wrote:T-Dog wrote:

Good grief.
Looks like a space suit. Star Wars/Star Trek and all that stuff. Why don't we just adopt a classic set home and away unis and quit experimenting? It has to cost extra money even if we sell some of them after a few weeks. That goes for last year's black block A. We have established a following for the standard block A pretty much nationwide. We are going to need EVERY penny to be able to field a set of stellar programs in the Sun Belt. (and what's with the lower case appalachian) Looks like somebody made an amateurish attempt at being creative just for creative sake. Look at the Appalachian on the table drape in the back ground...what's wrong with that?
Just my opinion.
Hahaha! I agree. I really like these uniforms and hope we can continue this level of creativity with future uniforms.Gonzo wrote:Blah blah blah, I'm an old man whose out of touch with what appeals to 18-22 year olds.JCline0429 wrote:T-Dog wrote:

That's my understanding. The only complaint I've ever heard from on of JM ex-players is that he didn't like to change uniforms. Good or Bad I think we're got past that now.yosefederation wrote:We agree to wear the alternative uniforms once a year, and in return Nike provides us will all uniforms free of charge for season. Not costing us a penny. someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this. Go Apps!!!!!!!
Maybe, lol, this is a subliminal thing in attempt to help get all these foo foo media types and yankees to finally learn how to pronounce "Appalachian" correctly.newtoasu wrote:I don't have a problem with most of the look. What I HATE is the use of the mixing lowercase a's with the capital letters in aPPaLaCHaIN. The lowercase a's look more like backward 5's.
We can't. Those were "stylish" uniforms from the early 2000s (see: Miami 2001). They look simply outdated. Not old enough to be "classic" or "traditional", too old to look good on their own.CornCobPipes wrote: I just wish we would make a decision to go with the uni style we had through the 3Champ run and keep them going forward and establish tradition with those, keeping the gold jersey in the mix with the black and white of course.
