My son in Southern Pines gets it on his TWC.

I know AppState.tv covers all the sports that can be covered, but will any football be on the App State feed. I think most of the SB schools do not use NeuLion so no sharing, or very little. The SB as a conference uses Sidearm sports, and I think most schools in the SB do as well.

I don't mind watching a bit of VB, FH, and the other sports are nice to have, but...

How many are going to keep/drop the video feed which is not free?

Welcome to Huntersville...I am here as we'll. If you haven't already make sure you visit Harvey's (a good Appalachian Sports Bar/Restaurant)

Not 100% sure about your TWC question, but I haven't noticed it on my guide

ESPN3 is internet only so you need and ISP that is willing to pay to carry it (the list is long.) In the case of TWC, they tie this into having ESPN with their cable line-up. If you go Intnernet only with TWC you may not get ESPN3. If you have internet and cable with TWC you should be good to go.

I was planning on going to Harvey's for the Michigan game. Is it better at the Cornelius location or the original one in Vermillion/Huntersville?

Welcome to Huntersville, as well. It's a great place.

I have TWC internet only, and do not get ESPN3 (I use my father-in-law's sign-in). To get ESPN3 via TWC you have to have digital cable. Hopefully, you live in a part of Huntersville that offers options for ISP. Where I live in Huntersville, TWC is the only option for high-speed internet. However, some cable is being installed in my neighborhood and I'm desperately hoping it's fiber to give some competition to TWC!

As for Harvey's, you should definitely go there. It's ran by two App grads, has good food, and always has beer specials--can't go wrong.

I've been to both, but prefer the Huntersville location for watching App games.

The Huntersville location will probably be a little more rowdy for a game if that is the atmosphere you're looking for. Both are great spots to watch a game. Of course I'm a little biased since Charlie was my roommate in college.

Now that you are in Huntersville you shouldn't have to watch home games on TV :D

Guess we'll start our tailgate a little later than usual......like 10:00 or perhaps as late as 10:15. :D
