I regret to inform the board that Jake Stroot, video coordinator for the App State football program, has left to pursue an opportunity at Louisville. As most of you know the highlight videos from Jake's staff are second to none. He was also the man in charge of practice and game footage for coaching purposes as well as creating and managing the playattherock recruiting site and more.

Jake is an alum who bleeds Black and Gold as much as anyone. He's reassured me that his successor is set up for success and that we can expect the same excellence we're used to from that office. It's a disappointing loss, but I'm happy for Jake and his family.

Jake's turned down several high-profile college and NFL offers before. Louisville is the richest athletic department in the country not named Texas, so he's going to get some big bucks.

I noticed that on Twitter this week. We'll all miss Jake's handiwork. Here's hoping the guys he leaves behind will carry on the award winning App video tradition nicely!
