In addition to Black Saturday, Appalachian State will have two more themed games this fall. The first will be on September 6 against Campbell, which is called the "Heroes Game" and will be American themed.

The second will be on October 4 against South Alabama and is called "Stripe the Stadium," which I'm assuming will be a stripe out.

The last is the usual Black Saturday, which will be against ULM this year. This game is on November 8.

I noticed that when I was in the bookstore today. The stripe out has me a bit curious. Is everybody supposed to wear those striped overalls?

I'd guess Daphne that each section will be given black or yellow shirts, alternating between each.

It gets a bit hot wearing black in those late summer/early fall games, especially on the East Side.

Thanks, EastHallApp. I'm an "every Saturday is Black Saturday" kind of person and a CPA. Imagination isn't my long suit. This plus the aerial drone photography would be cool.

I'm actually a little less clear on what the plan is for the "Heroes Game." It appears they are planning a red white and blue theme, but does that mean just asking fans to wear those colors, or will they be distributing shirts to try for a RWB stripe-out?

Also, wonder if the team will be wearing the flag-themed block A (pictured on the posted) on their helmets for that game? Have seen several schools do that as well.

A little upset, was totally hoping for Secular Saturday for the Liberty game.
