I saw that, too. Looks like the nightmare of seeing replays of the blocked field goal are inevitable for the UM faithful. Of course, if we start to take a beating, I can hear the announcers poking all sorts of fun at a town the size of Boone. Thankfully, I get to be there in person and won't have to listen to the announcers until after we win!

I don't think the announcers would be taking too many potshots at Boone or App. Not much appeal in kicking the little guy while he's down.
More likely if we get blown out, what you'll be lucky to miss is them spending the second half ignoring the game and running through a list of predetermined national college football discussion topics (the new playoff system, Heisman candidates, Jameis Winston, opening weekend showcase games, etc.).
Unfortunately we might get a fair dose of that stuff during the Ga. Southern game no matter how close it is.

EastHallApp, you're so right. I can hear the announcers droning on and on and on about Johnny Manziel even though he no longer plays college ball. I've taken to watching lots of games without the sound on simply so I can watch the game and not have to listen to the "today's media hero" garbage each time.
I'm hoping for a close game or even an App win so other announcers from other games will have to talk about US all day long!

Too true, lol. We'll have to hear about him for another couple of years until he washes out.WVAPPeer wrote:Hell, they will probably still be talking about Johnny Football ---
