Game times?

Just circling back to my calendar to fill in game times and noticed that there are still no times announced for any home games besides Campbell. Any idea when we can expect these? Is it still expected to be 3:30? It seems kinda late to still have that info outstanding....

My understanding is the starting times will be released at least 12 days before kickoff - decisions will be made as to which games will be on which ESPN's networks

Per App's agreement with ESPN, the other five home games won't have times announced until 12 days before and they will all be on an ESPN platform.

The Homecoming literature originally said 3:30 kickoff, but it was later changed. Other than that, who knows.

Interesting. I'm assuming the only reason the time would change is if the game were to be televised (meaning not ESPN3). The likelyhood of that happening seems slim.

I believe, at the least, every home game will be on ESPN3, therefore ESPN has the rights to setting starting times ---

Right. But my point was that since an unlimited number of games can be shown simultaneously on ESPN3, the only reason they would ask for a change would be if they were going to show the game on an actual TV channel.

There are certainly no guarantees but I would guess most of our games will go on as usual at 3:30. I don't see any game on the home schedule that is likely picked up for broadcast outside of ESPN3. Perhaps, they can't do that but it seems it would make more sense to indicate game times with the proviso that they are subject to change. It may be that ESPN won't allow it to be handled that way.
