Re: helmets
We are now 4-9 with these helmets. I agree that we should bring back the "Moore" era helmets.

Re: helmets
I've liked all of our helments from the past, except maybe the snow capped "A". Matte is the look for now. Young kids like it. Whats under it is what makes the team. Record would still be the same with the "Appachian Black" color has it was known by the helment makers.

Re: helmets
I like the matte black finish, but I'd like to see the return of the white block A.

Re: helmets
I understand that the kids today like alternate uniforms, the never ending combos of pants, jerseys, and helmets. College football is about tradition. Alabama, Penn State, and Michigan don't seem to have a problem with getting kids without the bling.

Re: helmets
I might agree if we suddenly changed from some 40-year traditional uniform. App State has a tradition of change.AppSt94 wrote:I understand that the kids today like alternate uniforms, the never ending combos of pants, jerseys, and helmets. Re: helmets
Like the matte finish, but miss the white block A. Wish they could do matte black with white block A as the primary helmet. The white A they promote as their school logo/trademark, but dont have it on their most visible product..football.

Re: helmets
I also like the matte finish helmets, but prefer them with black or white Yosef logo. I think the team wore them last year with the Always Attack jerseys. The block A is great on there too.

Re: helmets
I was under the impression that the Home Game Day promotions included a different colored A for some of the games! including this weekend when it's supposed to be a FLAG A. I might have misread, but one is the traditional white inside Block A.

It's an American flag "A" on a black helmet this week.Boone Goon wrote:I was under the impression that the Home Game Day promotions included a different colored A for some of the games! including this weekend when it's supposed to be a FLAG A.
