Re: Hallock injury?
Nothing so far. Unless I missed it I don't think Juice and DJ saw it. They didn't mention it in the post game show and I don't recall them saying anything when he got hurt. I put it in the Lamb thread. Hope he's ok because if he goes down and either Kam or TL gets hurt then we might have to pull the shirt off Caruso.

Re: Hallock injury?
We really need to have JP red shirt. We're going to want as much space between him and TL as possible.

You dont pull the redshirt unless he actually takes snap right? Even so he could play one game ala Brian Quick against Michigan in 2007. More importantly he is our placekick holder. Hallock had less than a 5% chance at seeing legit time at QB anyways. Does JP simply dressing for a game make him lose his shirt?

Right, he can redshirt unless he actually plays, and that won't happen unless Bryant AND Lamb are hurt. However, he can't play a game and redshirt - that on,y happens if the player has to sit because of injury.

Did Quick get a medical in 2007?EastHallApp wrote:ASUPATCH wrote:firemoose wrote:Nothing so far. Unless I missed it I don't think Juice and DJ saw it. Yes, that's the only way you can redshirt if you play even one snap. Don't know what his injury was though.ASUPATCH wrote:Did Quick get a medical in 2007?EastHallApp wrote:ASUPATCH wrote:firemoose wrote:Nothing so far. Re: Hallock injury?
First question yes. Last question no. He can dress (as he was tonight) but he has to see time in a game before losing the shirt. Just really hope Hallock is ok for both his sake and the team's. We really need to keep the shirt on JP.ASUPATCH wrote:firemoose wrote:Nothing so far. Unless I missed it I don't think Juice and DJ saw it. Re: Hallock injury?
Logan came back in the game as holder after his injury so it shouldn't be that bad.

I believe Quick actually played some the next week against L-R - If I remember correctly it was his Back ---EastHallApp wrote:Yes, that's the only way you can redshirt if you play even one snap. Re: Hallock injury?
In those cases does the athlete have 5 years of stats? or do they keep the game stats but do not include any of the RS year games in the career stats. I could see this being an issue with NCAA records. A few folks even get a rare 6th year.WVAPPeer wrote: I believe Quick actually played some the next week against L-R - If I remember correctly it was his Back ---

Re: Hallock injury?
anyone know why Jaylan Barbour didn't play after starting at Michigan? Hope he's not injured, although Lewis, Sumler and others are more than capable WR's.

Word is that Critcher will be the holder. He's done it some before but I'm sure he's getting lots of reps.asutrnr81 wrote:I hope we find a snap holder really quick....that is not the most natural thing to do!
