A new convert

I mentioned pre-Campbell that my daughter might leave the game at half-time as she is not much of a sports person. Well she did leave at half-time but I will give her a pass as I did as well for the Campbell game.

I just emailed her about either joining the Student Yosef Club or me just sending her $25. I told I would write the check either way. I figured she would want the cash, but she called immediately and said she wanted go ahead and join the SYC. It might be the social aspect of it all, but she seems to really be enjoying this part of campus life.

At least for football we have a new fan, and I think she will be around for bball and I know baseball for a few games.

To be clear - she was always pro-App and did go to a few games when she was younger. But it was also common I go by myself or one or both of my younger twins daughters would go with me but not my oldest.

This is a movement on this issue for her to be sure, even if the social aspect is driving this.

I imagine a great many of those in APP Nation, especially since the "explosion" in 2005, are the result of the increasingly popular social aspect of a gameday at The Rock. Nothing wrong with that.
