I posed this question a few years ago but was curious now since we have some younger YC members that have come aboard; How old is old? I've been following, with amusement I might add, one of the topics that drifted off to being old coots. I attended App during Mack Brown's one and only year and Sparky's reign. Is that old?

If you can still walk up the hill to the stadium and up the steps to your seat, you're not too old.

Class of 75....and 62 is the new 39.... Except for the more frequent trips to the can. So id say if you can get to the bathroom before wetting your britches you are not old!

I attended the first game played in Conrad Stadium 1962.

That was a very tough time watching that baseball player err... erra... Matt Szczur....scorch us for 4 or 5 TDs...hell, I think he just scored again...We didn't have a clue. The Committee was in rare form that infamous day. Going into that game, we should have not lost.

Anyway, I reckon getting over that has helped me have patience with our rebuilding years we are in the midst of.

Old is not so much a matter of age as it is of attitude. It seems that we become less flexible - in both mind and body - as we get older. My back tells me that graduating in 1982 was a long time ago. My body loves to remind me that I'm not as young as I once was when I stay up all night at a church youth group lock-in. My mind, however, still manages to keep up most of the time.

So how old is old? Somewhere beyond 54.
