Finding storylines as we go through the season and play a bunch of teams we've never played before will be difficult. So here is one aspect to consider as we start a young rivalry with Southern Alabama.
Current Chancellor Sheri Noren was one of the leading candidates for the office of President at Southern Alabama.

Did Southern Alabama miss out on a great candidate or is App State now just hiring USA's rejects?
I think this should be a good game. Both teams struggled against Georgia Southern. App State is at home after a week with several days of rest. Southern Alabama really doesn't know what it's in for in regards to our home field advantage. We've shown sparks of greatness with a young team that can't seem to put it all together for a win. Is this the week things start clicking?

Re: The Chancellor Cup
I'm not sure if you're doing in intentionally or not, but the name of our upcoming opponent is SOUTH ALABAMA....not Southern Alabama.
