The sections have already been listed. They are selling shirts for like $12, but I will just wear black (section 205).

I am not a fan of the students wearing white. I think adding the white will ruin it. They should have left it at black and gold.

I understand that completely. I just wish they had made that section black or gold. End zones are gold. Make the student section black.

Except for sections 101-107 aka the student section being designated white in the photo graphic. It's very stupid IMO to have the students wear white as white isn't a school color and will likely be worn by the visiting team. And then you got Sections 113 and 114 which are student sections. Also the hill and North Endzone bleachers aren't designated at all. Very lazy.

Also, were asking the visiting fans to stripe out as well in that graphic. Its clear the person who thought of this has never been to an App game before this season.

The more I look at it, the more faults I notice.

I've never been a fan of doing it this year. There's been stuff sent our every week on social media, signs around campus and such, but there's still people who either don't know about it or don't know how it works. In fact I will bet that at this time next week, JCline will post about how he didn't know about it.

Wow I hadn't noticed that. That is seriously sloppy.

And having the students wear white is dumb and will really water down the effect.

Either have them all wear black, or spend a few bucks on some cheap t-shirts for the student sections only so they can be striped. Slap a couple sponsor logos on there and the school probably wouldn't have to spend any money at all on the shirts.

Agreed, great idea...but poorly executed. Hopefully everyone cooperates and the stadium looks good though. GO APPS!

I have to agree that asking the students to wear white was a bad solution. They should have asked them to go black, and then maybe passed out Cards (or put them on the seats) for a "stripe" during certain photo ops. That might be lame, but better than what they came up with.

I kind of doubt that South Alabama travels (fan wise) very well, but it will be interesting to see.

I'm just glad that I'm in a BLACK section. I wouldn't feel right wearing anything else to an App game.

Wait, so they ARE providing student shirts? So they're providing white shirts? Sure, that makes sense.

I would have agreed about providing shirts in every seat, but I have actually seen this sort of thing work surprisingly well when people were asked to wear their own or buy at the stadium. We'll see. I'll predict the sections that are full will look good.

I'm in the gold section and will be out of luck unless it rains (gold raincoat). But with the chance of cool temps it's going to be interesting to see the color of everyone's outerwear and how those colors fit in

Even on Black Saturday there are handfuls of people that don't wear black. Idk I just feel like unless you put shirts down on the seats, it's not going to work. It almost makes more sense to say that the home side should wear all black and the visitor side wear all gold and then put down shirts. Easier to organize that way. If it's too much $$$ to provide everyone a shirt maybe only putting down gold shirts would make it more financially doable since most people have black. I really hope it comes through and looks good.

Our stadium is not conducive to this sort of thing. It's poised for an epic failure.

Only 4,000 for students? What about the other 4-6,000 that shoe up?

Hate to be a downer but it won't work......we don't even do black Saturday very well

The chilly weather will mean most will be wearing jackets. I bet not many students own a white one.
