He is definitely not giving full disclosure. I know there was a rift with him and Cobb. Cobb and Peacock wanted FBS, Moore did not. I think they got along up until then. Jerry thought he was going to stop the process or that his opinion would carry the weight. Instead of going along with his boss he refused and then pretended he was bombarded with this. I appreciate all he did and I'm glad he was our coach. It was time to move on. I would like to see him coach again and hope he does. I think he still has some in the tank. App just needed new blood. I"m glad we are seeing all the changes that are happening.

It will be good to see him in Boone this weekend. He is a good man who just let his ego get the best of him. That has happened to many others so we can't really fault him for it when 90% of man let it happen.

On Saturday, October 4th, Jerry Moore has the ball, in the red zone, first and goal. I hope he scores a touchdown for Appalachian State.

That woman is 41 now. Boy how time flies. It only seems like yesterday that she was crawling around the Oval Office on her hands and knees and putting things in her mouth.

The restraint being shown on this board is admirable. All I will say is after Saturday I hope we are done.

Selective memory .... that's what Jerry has... which is typical of somebody in his position. I think there is very little chance of him coaching at the collegiate level again. I do agree that we should "fully" honor him w/ something substantial ... like naming the field after him and a statute.

He was there. Once again he has selective memory.

I can't imagine him not showing up, but if he didn't ... wow!
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

There are several things I KNOW:

Rick wanted this to happen and now has the chance to make it happen. You could hear it in his voice!

The plan for this was almost immediate as it was being talked about at the HOF breakfast...some 10 days after CC left. Almost as if it were in place before "waiting" on the right time. Read into that what you want.

Coach has been on campus in the athletic facility since the summer.....over the summer he was in the stadium facility unless the people visiting who knew him are lying. (A friend of mine was at APP with his daughter for orientation and had been in coaches office a few years ago with a recruit. JM was in the athletic facility).

Coach Moore was at Senior Day or whatever last year escorting Jamal Jackson's mother. Why don't we all quit discussing this and wait until Saturday's event. Cobb is gone. Jerry will be there.

Don't forget the time she sat on a Cuban cigar. That's on the record. :o
