Post game

Unread post by MJ1988 » Sat Oct 11, 2014 10:26 pm

Just noticed tonight that our team has stopped the tradition of meeting a center field after the game for a post game prayer. I was always proud when our guys would get with their opponent win our lose at center field. I know some folks bristle at the idea of a team praying together and I'm OK with the lack of a prayer but I would like to see our guys meet at center field in a show of sportsmanship. Just another thing we've lost.

noticed that too.
Wasn't about to post it for fear of calling me a foster child to Jerry.

Coach Moore may have been the influence behind the tradition. I don't pretend to know. I see it as a team building thing.

Ditto...all of this. Does anyone know if we have a strong FCA program these days? I know it was quite strong during the Moore years, wondering if that is still the case.
