It's tough for me to go against ASU, unless it's against an FBS team, then I will consider it. It could be one of those seasons where I will be predicting a few ties.

Don't know when I've seen the sentiment so dismal around here! I think more folks predicted we would beat LSU several years ago.

I understand the concern, and I'm almost always one that expects every game to be a close one, but I think the Men in Black will unleash a strong dose of pent-up anger and frustration against the Birds on a Train. Apps will pull away in the second half for a big win:

Thanks BigC. I'm surprised that I find myself in the minority by taking the view that last week was a fluke. Nothing in the 1st 2 games indicated we would implode at home against the citadel. I expect this week we will see a very focused and motivated team. The beat down we took last week was epic and the recovery will need to be the same. I don't expect to ever see an ASU team play as badly as we did last week and I do expect to see the Mountaineers win in Chatanooga.

Last week sucked, but it was a let down after a big win (Montana) just like trend of recent years. Hopefully App will bounce back after a loss (also trend in past few years).

Come on "Debbie Downers"! Yeah, we all got our ars$$es handed to us last Saturday. Been hell carrying around those said ars$$es all week on our shoulders, but I do have a little faith that we can set up a good game plan and execute it enough to win against Petticoat Junction. No one ever guaranteed us that it would all be national championships and beating Big Ten schools when we signed up in Hooterville. A one point win would be priceless, especially if our offense doesn't score again this year.

This a PREDICTION thread, not a hindsight thread. If we all new everything, we'd all be millionaires. I predicted APP to lose based on what I saw the previous week combined with the facts that Chatty has played APP extremely tough and probaably should have won the last 2 against us. Does that mean I'm a hater? I know I'm not a hater, but maybe in your eyes. I think you are a little too sensitive if some of us try to be objective and not a cheerleader.

There may be some haters as you call, but please don't include me in that camp if I don't agree with you all the time.

I never make predictions, even when we play a school like Savannah State. My post wasn't necessarily directed at those who predicted we would lose, but rather the fickle fans who call for Moore's head after every loss. You would think the season is over after listening to some of those guys.
