Glad we won this game. If we hadn't, we might have had players calling out their coaches for bad decisions (as Troy did in the post-game press conference).

If the author had really wanted to drive the point home, she could have mentioned that both Cox and Fergerson are technically backups. I believe Upshaw was listed as the starter for the game, and he nearly had 100 yards before going out due to injury.
Give 'em hell!

SOmebody needs to tell this guy to stop it with the Appy State thing. Our SID needs to get a handle on that. Couldn't find his email in an article.

"PREDICTION
The Trojans should pick up their 100th home victory under coach Larry Blakeney and their second since Blakeney announced he's retiring at the end of the year. Blakeney enters 99-22-1 in home games. Troy 45, Appy State 28."

Perhaps someone on this board with better knowledge of our roster than me could answer this. Based on our current roster what would you consider our best projected lineups to include weight of O/D linemen and linebackers. Would be interesting to see how we project, particuarly for next season. Someone commented on the attendance. I was just following on my phone but occasionally I could see some of the stands when the video replays were made available. Looked sparse. Where would we rank in the SB as far as average attendance goes if we garner 25K per home game?

Thanks for the information. You have to figure that App will soon be the league leader in avg attendance. We have pushed or exceeded 30K several times in the past. LL and AS are fairly established, winning consistently in the league so they are probably about topped out. Once we start getting the higher tiered teams coming to the Rock our numbers will shoot up there. I see good things on the horizon.
