Just to let you know I'm honest and not a troll, I will go ahead and tell you I'm a Georgia Southern fan, and yes, I hate all of you potlickers with a passion. I have hated yall since the Ice Bowl in '87, our first ever playoff loss (19-0)and I will swear to my dying day that one of you out there ran a waterhose under the tarps on the field the night before to make sure the maximum amount of water could be frozen on top of the turf for that playoff game. As a result, our speed was negated and your bigger linemen that were probably raised on the frozen yukon tundra, did their best Caterpillar imitation and bulldozed yall to victory...but I digress..
Ultimately, I do have great deal of respect(but still lots of hate) for App State. I was very pleased to find out we were both headed to the Sun Belt although WE were asked first(minutes do matter ) and I was proud to know that we wold be getting a chance at evening the series...eventually. But that's enough of that..
Now to the real reason I'm here. As bad as I hate App, I hate Gagstate far worse- not as a rival, they really don't qualify as one, but rather much like a smart azz rich kid that has been given everything yet likes to talk crap to the hardworking folks that are trying to build something meaningful on their own. Not only does Gagstate deserve more hate than yall but they also deserve NO RESPECT from anyone...ever...
Now this brings me to my simple request and that is to please continue the mud stomping we started this past week. They have ZERO running game and no defense. They have a decent QB and a couple of receivers, but that's it. Shut down their passing and run it down their throats and its an easy win, but I don't want that... What I want is for yall to stomp a muhole in them, then stomp it dry. I want them and their arrogant delusional fans so demoralized after yall beat them that they abandon the concept of college football altogether and go back to being the inner city spooge bucket that they have always been. I 'll also add to please beat everyone on your schedule and improve because next year we are coming to finish off that rock up there in Boone. Also don't forget the stupidity GagState demonstrated when they said both of our proud teams wouldn't be talented enough to compete at the FBS level and that we would get a dose of "big boy" football ths year. I know, I know, yes yall are having an off year but this is Gagstate so take out your pent up frustrations on them and in a big way!! That's all...Oldfart out..

I'm sure we'll do our best. And Georgia Southern is still, and will always be our rival, as long as we are in the same conference.

If we have a long series with WFU, I'm sure that it will become a passionate game, but......... a rivalry involves deep bedded feelings,eg, heartbreak, hate, and euphoria. An Out of conference game simply can't give you that. I expect GS and App State to compete for conference championships every year. And, in many games, it will come down to "that game" to decide the champion. It's in that kind of environment that your emotions run high, everything is on the table, it's for all the marbles. One team will break the season for the other. I can't wait for the WFU game. A P-5 school playing at The Rock. An in-state game that will garner a lot of attention. It will bring a lot of fans. But, it will not match the sheer heart dropping emotions of a GS/App State rivalry game.

I hate you guys, but respect ya'll as a program. I think our sentiments are similar towards the urban start up GagState. We hate them because they rival our local urban "just hit the map" UNC-Cee. They both have no quality wins or many wins in general, almost no local fan support, but still somehow possess delusions of grandeur. They both jumped to FBS without paying any dues before us, and choose to rub it in our faces like they accomplished something. We both went the lack of tradition route and pointed at their multiple sub-D1 losses as dis-qualifiers in the ensuing smack talk. They made the jumps because of geography plain and simple, never mind any other factor present.

I hope we stomp a mud hole into those little yuppie girls when they come up the mountain. I hope it is Ice Bowl conditions and they wilt like cheap flowers left in a freezer. No dome for them to warm their little urban elite fannies up in up here.

It will take a lot of games for Week Forest to be in the discussion for biggest rival. As long as App and GaSo are in the same conference and play almost every year, it will get the biggest dose of hate from the Black and Gold.

And I do hope App curve stomps the Panthers. To be the first Belt victim, at home, of that start-up would be more embarrassing than the Liberty game.
