My prediction:

Exciting, thanks for the heads up.

We're full up through 2017, so unless someone is getting bumped, this one will be for a few years out.

I have literally no idea, so I'll take a couple WAGs:

1) Home-and-home vs. an out-of-state P5 school.

2) Extension of the UNCC series for additional games.

ETA: Or a home-and-home with ECU.

Announcement coming "around noon," per Around the Mountain.

DJ tacked it on as a footnote at the end (as he did before the UMass announcement), so it might be wise to temper expectations a bit.

I've gotta hope for ECU or Marshall. We have the potential of being in the same conference some day. So, let the rivalry begin!

If it is more notable than Wake ill go with Vandy, Louisville, Duke, ECU, Georgia Tech. For recruiting purposes UCF, USF. Shoot for the stars Colorado, Colorado State, Air Force......short drive for me.

More noticeable than others doesn't mean more so than Wake.

At Penn State 2018

Pretty good one. Now we have one big boy per year for the next 4. Guess we will add a mid tier opponent for 2018 and we will be set through 2018.

One home game remaining for 2018. Hopefully either an appealing G5 or an FCS that won't lock us into a return game in a future season. We do already have Southern Miss on the docket for that year.

I'm assuming ECU is booked. What about the Blundering Turd? I'd love to schedule them and the first game be in KBS. I didn't start at App until after they made the jump, and I still hate them.

Agree...the other two for me were Duke and WF, but we've already taken care of one of those.
