App State / GA State WX Trends - SNOWMYGOD!

Not seeing any major changes in the overall forecast thinking. The majority of the data continues to point towards a pretty rough sort of snowy, windy and gusty scenario for Saturday.
Understand we are dealing with a rather unique set up for this time of year. The upper level system's intensity and track are all key to this playing out as most data advertises. Any deviation in lack of cold air thickness and storm track, could throw more of a cold rain event into the scenario, rather than an all snow sort of a deal. Ground temps help into the evening hours, but once snow starts falling, that latent heat energy is going to get used up fast.
Keep on eye on Ray's web site. He's been updating pretty regularly. I'll give a nod his way, because the man and his team live up there 24/7. Nuances he knows far better than I. Please remember to check the time stamp at the top of his forecast to make sure it's as current as can be.
