Satterfield show?
Does the Scott Satterfield show still air this season? I had my dvr set to pick it up last season at around 4:30 during the week on SportSouth, I believe. I haven't heard any mention of it this season.

Not aware of anything other than practice interviews on AppState TV and the weekly radio broadcast, Mountaineer Talk, Thursdays at 7 PM on the IMG radio network.

Re: Satterfield show?
The TV show is no more, at least for this year. What is being done is smaller parts that are being placed on ASTV throughout the week. I think all of this is premium content so you will need a sub to ASTV to view it.app97 wrote:Does the Scott Satterfield show still air this season? I don't watch every week, but it seems the amount of content spread out over the 3 days or so they post content would be enough to fill a 30 min show with commercials. I am guessing the problem is selling the ad content to cover the air time.
I don't know what the agreement was last year. I am guessing we produced the show at our expense and then the Cable Channel sold the ads and some went to us and some to the cable channel. If the cable company wanted more money from us or a larger slice of the pie it may have been more than we could afford. For the cable channel it may have been the coach's show was making pocket change but what they replaced the show with is making even more money and we could not match that.
Did GaSo lose their show as well? The show was on a Fox-affiliated network it seems-SportsSouth. Maybe the SB/ESPN deal pushed the Fox network away.
It would be nice to at least see this on ESPN3. I have no idea what that would cost but if we produce it and then hand the content over to ESPN3 the cost of the server time and bandwidth could be covered by a few ads it would seem. ESPN3 has a few shows like this, non live events, it seems.
