For those of you not here at KBS: we just had a bit of a funny moment, or two, as the ref's mic was apparently hot during the half. Among a few unaudible comments was something to the effect of "that little f*#ker". It was clearly audible. Ha!

Hot Mic will bring you down every time... As we do in the biz... if a Mic is worn... treat it like it's HOT (on) ALWAYS!

We had a great chuckle over that, too.

Was going to ask that ??, Never seen a game where an unsportsmanlike was call with an ejection. Could not see the play but it really must have been bad, just not ever seen that in a game.

One of our guys, Joel Ross, was ejected at the Troy game for "targeting".... which I thought was the purpose... tackle the guy with the ball. We never saw what, how, or why that decision was made either so I wonder if it was the same sort of thing....

Yep, # 6 I believe.

Our player was ejected at Troy for targeting, but it was a very questionable call. There was helmet to helmet contact (which is why they called it) but it was clearly incidental and he did not launch himself into the other player helmet first.

The So. Alabama player was ejected for taking swings/shoving App players on the sideline I think.

I didn't see what the guy was ejected for yesterday. I kind of had the same question. The refs seem to be calling these things VERY tight this year.

A friend listening at the game said the radio broadcast indicated the guy threw a punch.

Regarding the ejection call, Brownie remarked that ULM player threw a "haymaker"
