Considering the struggles over the last 2 season I would say that's our best and most important win since 2009. What do ya think?

No doubt, at least the biggest win for us this season.

agree, I have wondered about the character of this team, and they showed tonight that they can take a punch in the mouth, and still get up and keep fighting, three years ago, down 20-6 the team probably would have got down on themselves and never made the comeback.

Hands down. This team showed heart tonight against a quality opponent. I believe the homecoming game awoke the sleeping giant, and we are serving notice that we are BACK.
Keep it going APP!!

nah, he's probably in Baton Rouge. he's probably about as much of a ULM fan as Eric Church is, unfortunately, an App fan

I think so. For a ton of reasons, this was maybe the best team to visit KBS "the Rock" since the Randy Moss Marshall days. (We made South Ala look like national champs) Biggest from the standpoint that a bunch of young guys figured out how to win. This will carry on down the road a couple years.

Before the season I had this one as a loss mostly because of the fact that the two Louisiana schools and Arkansas State, and you can add Troy since they shared the SB crown from 06-10, as the main teams in the league and with App just starting, simply didn't see it.
This is one of those "we're on the map, we're here, and we aren't going anywhere" wins IMO. Not world beaters yet, but I think the main teams in the Sun Belt know that App, and especially the stink, didn't just move up just to move up. It's on. Scott sounded GIDDY to get to Jonesboro.
Going to be a good one. We get a split out of these next two games and beat Idaho, then you can BET that the Rock will be rocking in 2015. Go App!

We were thinking this was the best win since the 2007 NC. Just thinking about the past 1.5 years and the jump to FBS that were going through. It proves to the conference we are here to compete.

I'm sure that the whole "best win since" discussion is subjective but this was certainly a big one, if for now other reason because, coming into this season this one was not flagged as a "should win". Troy and GSU were good wins...and they got the ball rolling, but almost everyone had us favored to win the Ga. State game even before the season started, and once the season got going and it was clear Troy was obviously vulnerable. ULM was considered a probably loss by most even if they had us marked as a "possible" win. They are not a team in collapse. They wanted this game and they played hard. We had to fight until the very end...it was a character win.
This is the kind of win that the team can really build on. Plenty of room for improvement, but lots of improvement has been made!

Id say best win since Montana or Furman in 2012. The implications of this win arent quite as apparant yet IMO.

I think those of you are correct about ULM being the best win - however, I agree that the win over Montana would be the one game that the majority of fans would select and I think that is because of our history with them in the playoffs and with the general believe that we had the two best fan bases and home field experiences in the FCS ---

That no-call was ridiculous. The ref was right there and pulled a "Michigan" on us with that gem.

If you are going to list all those we must add the 2009 game at Elon where they already had the SoCon Championship posters printed - Opps - got their butts kicked instead ---
