Hey guys and gals,
Would like to welcome all of you who can make it to Jonesboro. If any of you are making the trip feel free to ask anything.
As of right now the weather is not the most inviting 30s-40s with rain and wind in the forecast.
Seems that your bunch has really started to find their footing in conference play and I for one am looking forward to a good game.
We're pretty hospitable, and have a thriving downtown area if you decide to come in early.
Jonesboro is dry (damp, with most restaurants having permits). So if you prefer game day alcoholic beverages, have to buy them before hitting Craighead Co.
Hope you have a great time here (except the ge itself, of course) and hope to make the trip to Boone next season.

Well I lost my buddy who was going to meet me there ( he is an Arkansas State grad living in Chicago ) so I am sitting here trying to decide if I will still make the 12 hr drive from Virginia.

Hell Tennessee is one long ass state. Near as I can remember it's 9 hours across.

Thank you for the post and the hospitality. Hope we can play like we have been lately and make it interesting. Come on up to The Rock next season.

Thanks for the kind invite bojoWolf. Its exciting to be playing these Sunbelt teams and establishing new rivalries. Hope we can continue this roll we are on and give your bunch all you can handle (and maybe more) when we hit the field next week!

Thanks for stopping by. Sorry I have to miss this game, especially since the weather sounds like my favorite other than snow. I'll be happy if we can hold our own against stAte. Our young guys are learning with each game for sure, though I don't think we're "there" yet.
I do hope you'll make Boone next season. Most of us can be pretty hospitable.

Where's th best place to park for out of towners?

Actually, parking along the road by the stadium is free and depending on when you get there will be really close to the stadium.
There are free parking spots around the Convocation Center (basketball arena) as well. If you park out there, there may be shuttle service to the stadium.

Chattanooga to Memphis is 5 hours so from the Tri-Cities, yep about right.

Well, seems that the weather is looking mid 40s and sunny now.
However, there's a saying about weather here (probably similar everywhere):
If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it'll change.

Thanks for the kind words. We look forward to the other ASU coming to the high country next season.

Had a meeting in Memphis in August. Pretty easy cruising at 77mph on much of I 40 so it's a drivable trip for those of us in WNC. Can't go this time but hope to make it in 2016.

The assigned visitor's section is on the East side of the stadium, so if there is any sun you will be looking into it.
Please excuse the construction as we are building an Indoor facility and are working on a new pressbox during the season so that it will be ready for the 2015 home opener against Missouri. There's also been mention of our new Football Ops complex that will go up in the North end zone area getting started, though nothing concrete yet.
Once again, I'll welcome all the folks to Jonesboro.
