As I said earlier in the week, this win is the biggest since Michigan.

Is de-throning the reigning champions statement enough?

At what point is it no longer an upset? We're the best team in the conference.

Two weeks in a row we go in a double digit road dog and come out with the outright win.

Ya, I agree, GS would not beat us right now, dam I wish we played them next week, our record doesn't show it, but we are the best team in the conference.

I love this team and coaching staff for sticking in there when things got tough. What character! Everyone should be at the Rock next week to show our appreciation.

The turnaround that this team (players and staff together) have accomplished is nothing short of amazing! The past couple of games have felt unreal. The feeling has been incredible, and I am truly proud of this team. I have ALWAYS been proud to be a MOUNTAINEER, but this group of young men are special and the future looks BRIGHT!!!!

We need to play them one more time in a 1-time "transition" Bowl in the Georgia Dome. Do you think there is anyway we can get an exception from the NCAA and make it happen? Would that be great or what?

Let's just be satisfied where we are right now and concentrate on winning next week. Take nothing for granted.

Great win and awesome turn around. Too bad we are not eligible this year. Personally I think App and GaSo deserve bowls over USA and stAte. kind of an embarrassment for them to get one over us.

edit after reading hapapp post. finish strong and then the above applies.

ULL still only has one loss and will likely finish second.

I am more then just satisfied at where we are right now. This has been GREAT and I just wish we could reward these guys with something like this. All these players on both teams have done such a fantastic job this year coming in as the Newbies and dominating the conference that I would love to see the NCAA show some love and make an exception to these transition rules. I don't believe anything like this has happened in the past with 2 transition teams and would love to see them give these guys a reward for there performance. I would hope the NCAA could show some flexibility and understand this would be great for the sport.

True so they by default are first in Bowl picture followed by USA and stAte

It can happen if not enough teams get to 6 wins. Otherwise, we knew the rules when we made the move. Let's not start sounding like Ga Southern fans.
