Don't have to change my plans...they included being in Boone all along. Can't wait, but also really bummed that the season will be over already! Sure, why not, it is the traditional college football rivalry weekend (See below) and Idaho is who got. Besides, Not many options for geographically sensible rivals given our current situation. I have to be in Cincinnati Fri and Sat..... 90th birthday of an Aunt who is one of three surviving of 13 siblings. I'll see more App games but may not see her again. FYI her late husband was a 22 year old B-17 pilot /Captain flying missions over Berlin. This time missing a game was an easy choice.....But my IPAD and ESPN3 will be by my side! I have taught these people to pronounce Appalachian correctly.

Bringing my father in law (Citadel class of '56) and two next door neighbors who are Tennessee grads. Looking forward to seeing App finish strong. I guess Turkey Lurkey says "all clear" for Thanksgiving weekend since Henny Penny, Ducky Lucky and Goosey Loosey said that the sky was definitely fallin after the Liberty debacle.

Does anybody know if the dorms will reopen Saturday? I know in the playoff years, student attendance was always down if played the Saturday after Thanksgiving, because the dorms did not reopen until Sunday. Since this game has been on the schedule, has the University changed the policy? There are special ticket promotion for student guest tickets, but it does no good if the have no place to stay.
