Idaho attendance
As of this Thanksgiving Morning, somewhere around 5,300 tickets available (in seats-not grass). I do hope a lot of students will make it back up for game but not holding my breath. Afraid this shapes up to be the typical after-Thanksgiving crowd at The Rock... Those that do come... Give your ALL (voice) to Appalachian Saturday!
Re: Idaho attendance
disappointing, I was hoping our run the last 5 weeks would get people excited, and find their way up the mountain for one last home game, we aren't exactly making a strong case for the expansion of the stadium.

It's Thanksgiving and the students are gone. This weekend has no bearing on our expansion time line.moehler wrote:disappointing, I was hoping our run the last 5 weeks would get people excited, and find their way up the mountain for one last home game, we aren't exactly making a strong case for the expansion of the stadium.

Re: Idaho attendance
Why do schools at anything besides the upper P5 level even have Thanksgiving games?

Re: Idaho attendance
The Sun Belt really should have given everyone a bye this week and pushed the final game to next weekend especially since we don't have a conference championship game.
5,300 seats sounds bad, but 2 weeks ago there were over 7,000 available so the current winning streak has certainly made a positive impact. Playing a 1-9 team from the other side of the country on Thanksgiving weekend makes for a tough draw for any team. I really hope the league gives Idaho the boot after next year.

When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?
Re: Idaho attendance
I am just so thankful we didn't join the MAC and end up with several games on Tuesday or Wednesday. I feel so bad for those schools when I see the only attendance in the stands are the band and about 50 others.

The students can't really be blamed here. It's Thanksgiving Break for them and right before finals, so, rightfully so, I'm sure they want some time at home with family and friends.

Exactly no need for the drama.

I will be there from Atlanta to support this remarkable young team. I have missed only one home game this year and that was Snowmagedon and we all know Atlantans can't drive in the snow.

Add two more to the projection. Excited for tomorrow.

Re: Idaho attendance
I've been to every home game this season and oddly enought this will be the biggest group that has come with me all season. Including me we will be a group of 12.

Re: Idaho attendance
This date is bad all around. As others have said before at least now we have the advantage of the game being scheduled ahead of time. But regardless it's still a very difficult date to make for a lot of people, and I don't think giving everyone a bye week would be the worst idea. All of that said, my gang of four will be there.

Bringing my 4 there. First time we've all got to go in way to long. Got 2 freebies and I'll be looking for two more ticks for the kids so they don't have to wait in the car. Lol. Let me know if ya got any spares! rdm07@yahoo.com

Only me and the missus, but we'll be there until the final whistle.
Looking forward to the balmy 40's and a break from the turkey carcass.
