I don't know if you were at the game, but IF you weren't then NO one should ever complain about attendance. If you were there then flame on.

There was a bit too much aluminum, but that's to be expected with Thanksgiving and no students.
However, I don't think anyone who wasn't there can complain about attendance, which really wasn't all that bad.

I would guess 12-15k. Not as empty as I thought. As I said earlier, the season ticket holders seemed to be there a much as they have been the rest of this year. The only thing missing were the students, and there was a fair amount in attendance considering the Are on Thanksgiving break. No way there was almost 20,000 people there.

Student section looked like a typical UNC Charlotte student section

Yeah, if had been there, i don't think my arse would have covered much of the aluminum. It's not THAT big.

We had higher actual attendance today, over Thanksgiving break, than any of the phony attendance numbers UNCC reported all year.

Be careful mentioning another school on here now. Apparently mentioning the name of another institution means you are jealous of them.

Yep, but they were very high quality fans on the east side today that I saw. A lot better than those fair weather fans that ask you to sit down or not be so loud. I dont care if they ever come back. Great way to end the seaon Appps!

We need all the $40 ticket buyers we can muster.

Attendance was very low but Eric Church was there!
Attendance at this time is why so many conferences make this the rivalry game. We should do the same.

If ever in a similar situation again, with no conference championship game, they should move the game back a weekend. Not during the season, but prior to the season. I would much rather play on a weekend where we will get a better student attendance at least.

I am not big into country so I don't know all the names but my understanding is there are a couple of them that are GS alum. So you get them and Church to come and have a concert and the rivalry game and you couldn't get a ticket even on the SAT after Thanksgiving.
