2015 Football Already At Work
After finishing the season, you'd think the guys would take a week or so off. Not So! I hear the guys were back in the weight room working on Monday. Can't wait to see what happens with this young team over the next few months. Some of the WR's, LB's, and lineman are still boys. Watch them sprout!

And a different breed of S & C staff. Coach Mike has already got the workout routines for over the break set up for the players and has his off season plans in full effect. Can't wait to see what our red shirts from this year come into spring ball looking like (and next fall after the full off season program). The shirted OL/DL players especially. I've been hearing some good things.Bearboy wrote:I think it's a different breed of young players! Driven!!

I believe Mike and his staff had the entire off season planned out several months ago, and have had on-going competitions in the weight room among the red shirted players. It will be interesting to see how they stack up physically against the freshmen that played and thus weren't able to lift as much during the season.firemoose wrote:And a different breed of S & C staff. "Bearboy" I think it's a different breed of young players! Driven!!
One of the things that made me happiest this season was the dramatic
reduction in Celebration Penalties. It seemed we were getting a bit of
a rep with Refs the last few years, perhaps rightfully so.
