Black endzones or white block A on the helmet...

Well guys it's the offseason, for App at least. So as we find things to talk about to pass the time til kickoff next season which "comestic" change would you want to see first?

For me it's the white block A on the helmet.

I confess the new one has grown on me, but I still prefer the White Block A. Much more visible and its whats on Dexter Jackson's helmet on the SI cover that hangs in a prominent place in my office.

I know the matte black helmet is a big thing now, I like the shiny but that is just me, so I say keep that but the white A. That is the school logo and FB is the only one that has that as far as I know.
Black endzones are a must, anybody know how much that would cost?

Edit, according to this site http://www.ondecksports.com/PG40-RED_7- ... ory=150395, it would be about 11.5k per endzone. That's not alot. Sure there is some hidden costs there.

Black endzones hands down! And while we're at it let's fast-forward the whole turf replacement a year or two and go with a higher quality product this time. Our turf looks like it's 10/12 years old and if it's the elements fault then we need to buy a field cover next go-round.

Black endzones please. I dont like the current endzones much, but they are better than the ones that looked like my kid drew them with yellow crayon.

For the lettering, an updated font with the old Appalachian/Mountaineers would be fine, but another idea could be to say APPSTATE, with APP in yellow and STATE in white.

I vote for both!
Could get used the helmets but just can't get used to the field. It just looks off.
Wouldn't mind seeing a little old gold for a real (historically accurate) retro look on throwbacks too.

Both! Black end zones look better and the look intimidating. White block "A" should be worn a few times a year as well (if not on a permanent basis).
