google chrome and espn3
Never had any luck with espn3, you tube and a few websites like to hickory daily record. Slow loading, crashing, freezing up. Google chrome seems to be my answer. Ran a entire football game today and never messed up.

Re: google chrome and espn3
I have a question. Who do you have as your internet service provider. I have TWC and they do not play well with their customers if they do not have TWC digital cable service along with internet. I was a Directv customer before and found that TWC signal didn't compare to Directv. I went back to Directv and lost my option from TWC to keep ESPN3. Do you know of a solution?Dmanuhone wrote:Never had any luck with espn3, you tube and a few websites like to hickory daily record. Slow loading, crashing, freezing up. Re: google chrome and espn3
This may be redundant info but espn3 uses your login info from your email and password from your tv provider not your Internet provider. For a couple years I thought they used your Internet provider and my old provider did not participate w/ espn. I used my brother's w/ TWC. Finally I got the idea to call Dish and they explained how it works and I set up a my dish account and logged in to espn3 and it was great this season.

That's not completely true. While TWC doesn't allow non-cable subscribers to access it, many other providers do allow their internet only subscribers to access it.AppFan11 wrote:This may be redundant info but espn3 uses your login info from your email and password from your tv provider not your Internet provider. Buddy..... All I was saying is that I used my bro's login info (and still do on my phone) from TWC to access espn3.... that is until I realized it was thru your tv provider not Internet provider is how you access the WatchEspn app. That's all. Hope all is going well for you HappApp it was good to meet you at the Idaho game. Merry Christmas big fella!!

I'll save a lot of people with this...
Google Chrome is the superior browser (as long as you keep it updated) for anything.

I wasn't disputing your story but rather pointing out that in some cases it is through your internet provider not your cable provider that ESPN3 access is gained. You don't have to be a cable subscriber to access it.

Charter and Amazon Fire works well also. When you first set it up it is a bit of a pain because Charter isn't originally listed in the first link ESPN gives you but it is available. Plus I get to yell at it just like Gary Bussey

I access it through my internet provider Comcast. I do not have cable at all, only DIrecTV.AppFan11 wrote:Buddy.....
