This will be the best home slate of games in the history of the school sans Howard. Can't wait to get season tickets. Go App!

I just want to know when the gnat covered, Mama June wannabees are heading to the Rock. They've been busting on Parker Collins hard the last couple of days. Add that to the comments about Cox and it's time for a good ol' fashioned mountain butt whoopin'. They've been talking about how they killed us this year but, as usual, they forget we did the same to them last year. Nothing new from them as they always remember the wins but forget the losses. Just more fodder for the blackboard. ;)

It's the Referees' fault!
You know that may be the official school motto for GSU.

Parker tweeted, two years ago today I decommitted from GS to come to App, best decision of my life.

Guess the GS fans couldn't handle that. Smart guy, shows good judgment.

As to when the GS game will be scheduled. I would be VERY surprised to see it scheduled for a Saturday and VERY surprised if it isn't a nationally televised game.

Won't really be able to plan until the Sun Belt/ESPN release their Thursday night schedule. I have a feeling KBS will host at least one of those games next year.

I hope it is Saturday October 31, another HALLOWEEN hAPPening! Enough time for both to have several wins and we can take the wind out of their sails.

I just hope the GaSo game is scheduled late in the season where those gnat-bitten, swamp drinkin rednecks can come up the mountain and freeze their azzes off as their team gets their butts kicked. And don't worry about Parker Collins as he is one Mountaineer that I'm sure can take care of himself.

That would be awesome! But, like others have commented, I am guessing this gets moved to a Thursday night. But we can still hope!

Georgia Southern is one candidate for Thursday night, but it could just as easily be ULL or A-State. All should be projected near the top of the league.

Total guess here, but I think if App had their druthers, they might want Southern for Black Saturday, and one or both of the other two for Thursday(s). But of course we aren't the only party involved in those decisions.

If we can get a crowd similar to the Wofford Halloween crowd, I don't think Southern will be ready for that, and we'll come off pretty great on ESPN!

The Sun Belt releases all the football schedules on March 1st. With Georgia State, Troy and South Alabama needing an extra game after losing UAB, it might come down to the wire.

Cobb having to schedule a game on short notice??? Yikes...

Georgia State will probably end up playing a road game against an Atlanta-area high school with that oaf wheelin & dealin.

The attendance at that game would probably be higher than if they had a home game.

Bet it's a nearby HBCU - Savannah State, Alabama A&M or the like...

BTW - is your Avatar now Beasley?

I think so. No one is safe from the ire of Greer. I heard he throws at is own kid during the father/son game.

I've seen plenty of threads where blaming the refs could apply to us too. Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.
