Mr Football SC
Mr Football SC
I read an article regarding Louisville pulling their offer from the Mr SC RB from Dutch Fork. He is announcing his new school Wed with Wake and Ga So in the mix. Anyone have info on this? We don't need him signing down south.

Re: Mr Football SC
GSU was the mix long before he committed to Louisville. Once he'd done that the others backed off. Dutch Fork HS has now banned Petrino, Grantham, and Louisville from their campus. Don't come here. Personally I think SCFCA should follow suit, for at least a year or two. Then ban them if they switch school.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

"Although National Signing Day has come and passed, Willie Fritz and his staff are still hot on the heels of one more 2015 prospect. Matt Colburn, a 3-star running back out of South Carolina, has reopened his recruitment and several teams have noticed. Programs like Marshall, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and UNC are heavily pursuing him in addition to Georgia Southern."

Isn't Dutch Fork the school that Tom Knotts went to? He was the coach at Charlotte Independence during their big hey days of winning.scatman77 wrote:Dutch Fork HS has now banned Petrino, Grantham, and Louisville from their campus.

Yes, and he has Roy Kirby from Shelby Crest (almost as successful as Big I) as an assistant.bh2oson wrote:Isn't Dutch Fork the school that Tom Knotts went to? As appears to be the norm for GS sites, I believe they may be exaggerating how "heavily" some of the bigger-name programs are pursuing him.asu66 wrote:From EagleSportsInsider (Scout.com)...scatman77 wrote:GSU was the mix long before he committed to Louisville. Its down to GSU and WFU. I believe he will end up at Wake. There has been lots of twitter sleuthing going on the last week and a couple things point to a decision with Wake on Wednesday.

If I were him, I would want a shot at playing against Louisville. That may be a huge selling point for Wake. Other than that I would take GaSouthern over Wake.dubs21 wrote:Its down to GSU and WFU. Re: Mr Football SC
For him, in particular, there are plusses for each school. Right after Petrino dropped him, his coach said in the media that he was looking for ACC/SEC offers, so there is that. I don't want to get into an argument about which school offers more for him, they both have plusses and minuses. We'll all find out in 18 hrs or so.

The sheepskin from Wake will open more doors than one from the ' boro. It's inconsequential for ASU, because it appears that we'll have to play against him either way he chooses (between these two teams).proasu89 wrote:I believe I'd take a degree from Wake over one from East Georgia.

At least he now will only go 0-1 versus App State in his college career rather than 0-4.

Re: Mr Football SC
At his signing reception, he was interviewed and asked about his excitement in playing against Louisville. He said he's already dreaming about it and in the dreams he rushes for about 1000 yards and tons of td's. Lets hope he gets half that.

Can't wait to see this young man in Boone when Wake visits in 2017. I cannot begin to tell the rest of you all how pumped it is to have App at the I-A level after all these years. (Refuse to say FBS and FCS) Go Apps! FWIW, I will root like hell when Wake plays Louisville thanks to that scum Bobby Petrino.
