Poll: How would you get your Bowl tickets?
With all this talk about bowl games, it got me thinking, "Would I buy from App or get the tickets through a 3rd party?" I'm curious about the thoughts from the members of this board.
If you are one of those "may or may not" go to the game, go ahead and answer assuming you will go.
I'll go first, if App were to be invited to a bowl game this year, I would definitely go and get my tickets through App.

I will go through App. I think we should "sell" tickets early to show the bowls were are interested in going. If it comes down to us and someone else for ,lets say the Cure bowl, it might be an advantage to show potential tickets sold. I think Louisiana used to do that.

Buying the tickets through App is the right thing to do. Perhaps that will be incorporated into Yosef points, much like season tickets bought are factored in.

I'd want to support App, and I'd also have to think the seats would be pretty good anyway. Maybe if we were in a game where 80,000 tickets were going to be sold, I'd worry about getting stuck with bad ones. But what's the worst you could get in one of the SBC bowls? Too far down in one of the corners?

G5 bowls aren't particularly well attended, sadly. Tix should be be a no-brainer.

I like the pre-sale idea. Maybe start selling deposits upon reaching the sixth win, refundable if not selected for a bowl game. I would buy one of those.

It would be most beneficial to App for our fans to purchase tickets through the university. The athletic department will be on the hook for our allotment regardless, so going through back channels to save a few bucks hurts us in the long run.

You are so correct! I always buy my tickets from our ticket office.BeauFoster wrote:It would be most beneficial to App for our fans to purchase tickets through the university. You are dead on target, Beau. Back channel sales only benefit the opposing team or the local organizational committee sponsoring the bowl. I would never buy tickets from "rival" sources unless the game was a sellout and ASU's allotment was completely spoken for.
