I read that as we have a LOT of talent and some good asst coaches to overcome a subpar head coach. I don't buy that. Satt may not be the best head coach in the SB according to some, but no way he can be that bad either. I would thank at least top 3 coach if the team is predicted to be at the top. Not a logical sequence of thought in my view.

Though I have no doubt their final team standing predictions are well thought out and will be spot on.

Ironically, if we prove their prediction correct, Satt will no doubt rank much higher next year.

You could make a case for the top four in any order. Texas St. would probably like to be included in that group too.

Yep, I got App, stink, the cajuns and the bobcats all being there at the end. I don' think Idaho finishes last either. I got NMSU taking that spot. I think Ga State will also get a couple of SBC wins. They've added several UAB transfers. Cannot wait! Go Apps!

The key word here is "If." I hope our fans aren't getting the cart before the horse. It's a long and winding road to the winner's circle--from May 26th.

There's a lot more reason for excitement this year than last, to say the least. 3rd place finish last year was a pleasant surprise, 3rd place this year would be a disappointment.

I am confident we will have fun and exciting year with the prospect of going bowling.

I'm obviously hoping for a conference title like everyone else, but if we finished third with a 6-2 league record like last year and went 8-4 (or better) overall - all of which is entirely possible - I don't think I'd consider it a disappointment.
