Okay, I don't want to get too carried away with everything and predict our dominance of the Sunbelt this year but I swear I love all of the reading about the POTENTIAL for us to have a break out season. ESPN is showing our Apps some love with us coming in at #53 in their pre season rankings. Let's Go App ! Time to shine ! 8-)
Oh yeah, those pesky Sand Gnats from the Stink come in just below us at #63.

I'm surprised our offense is rated that high and defense that low. I have higher expectations for our defense that 70ish for Woody and Co. this year.

Love it! I know what preseason rankings are worth, especially in May, but it sure feels good to have ESPN rank us ahead of such teams as ECU, Duke, Virginia, and quite a few of the Big 10. Hoping the Black and Gold faithful will show their excitement and support by putting butts in the seats. Stoked.

It will be interesting to see where we are after the Wyoming game. A solid 3-1 is what I'm expecting. Everybody knows these rankings are just something to get us through the off-season but it is good to see and read about I guess.

Yea, wasn't that 2004 spanking by Wyoming our first game in the spread? I want to avenge that loss badly.

App needs to do it's part this year in OOC play by beating ODU (CUSA) and Wyoming (MWC). The team better not sleep on Wyoming either since they have the former NDSU head coach.

Yeah, Wyoming will be a big one IMO. Wont have any advantage in terms of elevation either.

On an opposite note, check out Wyoming's stadium. I wouldn't mint Kidd Brewer take on a similar shape (especially on the away side/end-zone) and capacity is at 29500ish which is a good size.
