The Sun Belt needs to kick Idaho to the curb. That's going to cost the conference $300,000 from the CFP playoffs payout.

Poor performance on and off the field for them. Time to cut them loose which I believe the league can vote to do after this season.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

Everything's relative, I suppose. These are all at or above the National Average of 951...

Louisiana-Monroe 969
Appalachian State 960
Texas State 958
Louisiana-Lafayette 953
Arkansas State 951

There's certainly room for improvement, but they're still worthy of respect. The remainder (below) command little or no respect.

South Alabama 943
Georgia Southern 943
Georgia State 940
Troy 937
New Mexico State 931
Idaho 896

Just for the sake of a few "random" comparisons...

Michigan Football 990
Wofford Football 986
Furman Football 973
Wake Forest Football 962 (No kidding here)
NC State 960
ECU 950
ODU 950
Western Carolina Football 951
James Madison Football 947
Liberty 947
UNCC Football 943 (Real brainiacs!)
West Virginia Football 942
UNC-Tarhick Football 937  (Don't get me started!)
Gardner Webb Football 923

A lot of the others are real eye-openers, too!
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

All you need to know about APR is that Kentucky basketball had a perfect 1,000 score last year and was very close again this year.

It's important because the NCAA uses it to ban teams from postseason. But as a metric of academic achievement or rigor, it's meaningless.

Couldn't agree more. Looks like they have done a good job keeping athletes academically eligible during their short time on campus. However, graduation rates aren't quite so stellar. UK 6-year Fed Grad Rate was 40%.
