Today's Uniforms
I explained to my son that today's jersey's will be auctioned off to raise money. He asked about the helmets, and I had no answer. We did not paint the black ones did we? If these are different helmets, what happens to them? Any one know?

DJ said on the radio they were selling them, too. Yosef club members have first dibs and I think they were $375.

Re: Today's Uniforms
Folks who bought season tickets got a flyer in the season ticket packet regarding the sale of the helmets from today. Unlike the jersey auction that goes to the highest bidder, the helmets were to be sold to the top X number of donors who paid the price by Yosef point rank. Anyone who sent in a check and wasn't in the top X will receive his check back.

Re: Today's Uniforms
I noticed that they listed the size of the jersey on the site, which is of great help. But I was wondering why the #6 Tacoi Sumler (5"8" 185) and #12 JJ (6'3") are both mediums? That seems a bit odd to me.

Re: Today's Uniforms
The jerseys are sized small and long. When our daughter-in-law puts on her Travaris Cadet jersey, she can pull it down nearly to her knees. If you normally wear a medium shirt and don't want to have something sticking to you like glue, size up. Unlike in the 70's, the jerseys now are meant to fit snugly ... very snugly.

Thanks. I haven't worn a medium since 8th grade so I am definitely sizing up. I probably will never wear the one that I am bidding on, but will most likely frame it.

Re: Today's Uniforms
Good luck on the bidding. I bought Matt Cline's jersey for our son when our son graduated and Travaris Cadet's jersey for our daughter-in-law's graduation. They rarely wear their jerseys, but it's pretty cool to have them. I won't be bidding on this year's batch ... no more kids to graduate and not quite into grandparent-land yet.AppSt94 wrote:Thanks. Enjoy the Cline jersey. I wanted the gold 17 as that is my favorite number playing sports. Probably could not have worn it though.

Our son is not quite 6' and weighs in at a hefty 160AppSt94 wrote:Enjoy the Cline jersey. I wanted the gold 17 as that is my favorite number playing sports. Probably could not have worn it though.
