I promise...

...this is my last post for the night. Midways in the fourth quarter with us having the huge lead, a tall heavy set man stomped by my row almost cursing under his breath and saying, "I can't stand any more of this" as he was leaving. I just hope and pray that he wasn't one of the members of this board.

There was a guy sitting just down the row from me who kept saying "I'm tired of watching this Defense choke." Now, I understand that the touchdowns they had were the result of blown coverage (and a little help from penalties) but CCU had a pretty good Offense and we held them to two scores. I guess people believe that we should never allow the opponent to score at all.
I enjoyed the game yesterday. The Offense played extremely well, and the play calling was better than it's been in years. The Defense is improving and there are always areas that can get better. All indications are that we're on the path. The Citadel game was painful, but this season could wind up being REALLY fun.

I agree to an extent about the play calling but one thing to remember, is that a team whose defense was as porous as theirs, any call would have worked no matter how basic or complex. They made us look much better than we were. Having said that, I enjoyed the game almost as much as any I have seen in KBS including the game we hung 80 on Wofford or the "go for two" game..

That is the 64,000 dollar question.

It's amazing that you have only 25 posts but have 10 rep points...well 11 counting the one I'm giving you now.

Haha. Thanks, JC. I read the board about every day, but just don't post as often as I used to. Sometimes I just have to say something though.
