We tailgate in the front yard on free weekends. Keeps the 2 year old outside and entertained. We call it Toddler Tailgating.DaphneUrquhart wrote:We're already doing tailgate practice. I am so excited for this season!
I can't wait to go to Boone next week to help pack season tickets!

Wish I could give you a baker's dozen rep points for that post. Very touching.ASU84 wrote:I am so looking forward to some App football!! I hope to become more involved in the whole process this year and meet some of the fantastic people on this board. There are a couple reasons why I have not been very active over the past several years. As my username would indicate, I did indeed graduate in 84 and I'm very proud of it. I have two boys from my first marriage who are grown(No problems here). I married a very talented and beautiful woman(even if she is a 49er grad!)
Anyway, we decided that we would not have a child.
After two failed procedures to prevent(unknown about the failed second at the time). Just the beginning!!
Our son was born at 23 weeks and 1 lb 8.5 oz!!(yep, you heard it right) After 4.5 months in the NICU we brought him home(Boy, what a long 4.5 months!). He is now a little over 4 years old and is a wonderful little boy, although not nearly as little as he was initially. It does not come without challenges though but we are making progress. He is our little miracle. After saying that, I hope to make it up there at least twice this year, hopefully at least one time with my boy and meet some of you fine folks. Go Apps!!!
Hey 84', Try your best to make it up the mountain and let us know when you are coming. Based on your graduation year, you made it through "the football coach not to be mentioned", one year of Mack Brown and a year or so of Sparky Woods. We need all of the '84s that we can get back up on the mountain.ASU84 wrote:I am so looking forward to some App football!! In regard to your son, congrats ! I also have one son (rising junior in high school) and it is awesome ! Years go too fast at this stage in my parenting . Good luck with family life and our football fortunes . Look forward to meeting you some Saturday (or Thursday night) this fall.

I've been in 76 for six (?) years now. Still not quite sure how I got there ... it certainly wasn't good looks and talent!asutrnr81 wrote:Dang Daph.....you moving on up the Stadium!DaphneUrquhart wrote: You and yours are always welcome at our tailgate spot (#76 in the Stadium Lot).
