According to the mothership, Nike's latest efforts leave us with 21 possible uniform combinations. The most modern being the gold pants / gold tops with black striping / black helmet. Personally - I like that combo. The gold pants / white top / black helmet combo is pretty hideous though...like somebody in the equipment room mixed up the loads on laundry day.

What does everyone think?

I dig them. I love a solid color head...errr...neck to toes.

Sadly, I have to agree. First, I simply don't get the matte black helmet look. Never have, never will. And I don't understand what happened to the white block A. Second, for those of us who have had to stomach yellow over the last 30+ years, these things are like a punch to the back of the head.

I keep hoping that the "surprise" one year is going to be uniforms that have our actual school color.

I'm normally accepting of more modern uniforms, but these are really hard to look at.

All black at home, minus one game in which we wear all gold.

Gold or white jersey with black pants on road.

I for one do not understand how our most marketable sports team does not utilize our primary logo in their uniform. Please incorporate the white block A into the rotation.

Yes I agree. We should wear the white block "A" for all games home and away except Heroes Day when we could wear the red white and blue block "A" and Black Saturday when we wear the all black block "A". The Victory Yosef logo can be on the uniform as an alternate look but not on the helmet. I do like the all gold uniforms. Go App! Kick A$$!

We don't pay for any uniforms, they're paying us $100k to wear those uniforms. And I like the block A as well but I don't know if I'd call it a "national brand" therefore in my opinion it's alright to switch things up here and there.

I think the all gold looks like a Christmas ornament.

All Black with white block A on the helmet or White Jersey's White Block A on the Helmet with black pants.....enough of this crap and get rid of Pa Kettle on my helmet.... I buried that in 1975

WE signed a deal with NIKE....for wearing their Swoosh on our unis, they give us the unis and $100K the uniform actually costs NIKE very little. it is the advertising they are after....and the sale of stuff to the fans.....they make out with this deal....especially WHEN we make it to a bowl game and make the NCAA basketball tourney. The sale of licensed merchandise more than makes up for the gift of unis....and the 100K

So actually they are paying us in product, not cash for wearing the uniforms.

Two nationally televised prime time Thursday night for 100k is a good deal.
