Did anyone notice in the Day 1 practice video on goasu that section 111 seems to have new bleachers... With backs! Also nice job sprucing up paint on east side, including steps... PBR?

Pretty sure those bleachers backs are not new. Looks like the field level retaining wall has been painted black.

nope...i was about to but it was done recently...the "A" on the other hand needs some serious work...weeds, weeds and more weeds with a few dead shrubs to boot! Gonna have to get up there and clean and prep pronto!

I wonder what else they are going to do with the wall? If you notice at the end of the video, there are some maintenance guys on a gator bringing stuff over that way. Perhaps filling in the "A" and "Appalachian" in white or yellow.

I think it looks better though. They either needed this or to pressure wash it badly.....

I wonder if Gillin will play around with different layouts for bleachers in the end-zone or keep it the same?

I remember one WCU game where there was field level access and you could stand behind the endzone near the scoreboard. That was a pretty cool idea, but I have not seen it used since. I want to say it was the WCU game where we hung 70 on 'em.

The black concrete that was painted looks much better.

One thing I noticed off the video is that our boys spring weight room program has paid off!! They look big,cut just look in great shape! makes me really excited for the season! can't wait for more videos
