We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I can not tell if this is a good or bad thing? Why are they just now waiting until a week before to promote this to the fans? Our marketing has improved over the years, however our actual game day marketing still needs some work.
I didn't expect a large crowd considering it is Labor Day weekend. I will be there...front row.

Presumably because they wanted to sell as many full-price tickets as possible.

I went to the ticket office online site and pretended I was ordering single game tickets. When it got to the seat selection part, it appeared to have a lot of open spots.

IMO, it depends on the weather for an opponent like Howard. We've traditionally had a large amount of game day sales. If the weather is good I see us in the 25-27k range.

If we have good weather and can't get 20k for a home opener no matter the opponent I will be extremely disappointed in our fan base.
I challenge everyone to bring a friend up the mountain.
I can't imagine a better place to be for a Labor Day weekend.

I do think we'll have a big turnout for game day tickets. I will be disappointed if we don't hit the 25K mark (not that anybody cares if I'm disappointed).

When I ordered tickets for Homecoming vs Wyoming, there were quite a few tickets left. Considering it is Homecoming and we are playing a flag ship university, I expected better sales.

I doubt many fans care whether we're playing a flagship university. They want to see us playing recognizable football programs. We'd have been better off keeping Southern Miss on this year's schedule.

Did we drop Southern Miss or has that been moved forward to another date?
Too, we are talking about Homecoming which is normally a big crowd.

I agree Wyoming is not that big of a deal, however we had fantastic homecoming turn outs when we were in the SoCon. We are all dedicated fans. That's why we take the time to post our joys, pains, and thoughts on this message board. The verdict is still out for our fair weather fans. We've had good years recently, but sadly they are still not convinced. I can see us making a bowl game this year, which hopefully gives the fair weather fans something to be happy about, and pack the rock CONSISTENTLY

Moved back to 2018. And I agree about Homecoming. We are starting to run out of excuses for the lackluster crowds.

I said this a while back...but when we went on our run last year it was either on the road or bad weather at home or thanksgiving weekend. Over half the students on campus have not really seen us win at home. Keep winning, bring some ships back to the Rock and it will work itself out.

To be clear, we did not drop So. Miss, or move them back to 2018 in favor of Wyoming. So. Miss dropped us to play Alabama. We replaced So.Miss with Wyoming, which given the time frame, and that Alabama was no longer available

, was a solid add.

Not sure who initiated it, but if USM dropped us to play Alabama, then they must have been disappointed, because they didn't get a game with them.

I am excited to have a shot at Wyoming again. Last time was not pleasant.

I stand corrected though, I really do remember something about So. Miss wanting to sign another P5 for this year, rather than coming to Boone. Maybe I am really going crazy.
