New forecast show it possibly hitting northern Florida by Wednesday. Needs to be gone by Saturday so we can enjoy our first home game honoring ASU greats. Checking Boone weather.com optimistically daily.

If it hits or is near Florida by Wednesday, it will be well out of the area (NC) by Saturday./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote:New forecast show it possibly hitting northern Florida by Wednesday. Since this thread is about weather, I'll posted an unrelated, but interesting tidbit I heard this week.
I was talking with an engineer from VDOT this week and he told me they had a meeting to discuss their plans for the upcoming winter. During that meeting they were told that VDOT is expecting the worst winter in 30 years. Just something to think about.

Guess we'll see some of those heavy snow storms originating from the Gulf and heading north. That's feet not inches of snow.appst89 wrote:Since this thread is about weather, I'll posted an unrelated, but interesting tidbit I heard this week.
