After moving me up to Indianapolis last Apr my Mountaineer babe of 25 years decided this year she wants to live in separate hollers about ten days before the countdown was to begin for the 17th time. Anticipating all the ups and downs, legal issues, custody, having to move again

With deep concern, encouragement, and support from of some of the members here, you know who you are, at the last moment I relented on that decision. Let me say without you don't know how I would have come through this with my sanity and I may not be sane yet, but I'm on the path now. With your sage counsel I was reminded that Mountaineers are tougher than the harshest of life's circumstances. A Mountaineer's strength lies humbly in a willingness to press forward when all others shrink in sight of daunting adversity. In that spirit, I decided to stay true to what I do, what I believe in, and not wanting give up on my fellow Mountaineers the Countdown was started.
It was a rough beginning, I sometimes didn't feel like posting but continued, during the move out continued, sometimes late, and yes I even missed a few days, but the count continued. Now today as the days grow shorter it's almost complete. Time soon to turn it over to another MMB tradition Big C's countdown! On reflection I am really happy that I started, stuck it out and take some small pride in myuself that I finished strong.

So you almost 200 daily viewers of the GAS Countdown I'll ask you to consider pressing that thumbs up button for the next few days when you view, I'd do it for you.
From my heart.
Thank you Mountaineers.
Healing in Indiana, GAS
