RISE: Appalachian State Football can be seen on two western North Carolina television outlets — WHKY-TV 14.1 (Hickory, Boone, Statesville, Charlotte) on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and WXII-TV 12.2 Me TV (Triad, Yadkinville, Wilkesboro) on Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. It can viewed on demand at appstatesports.com beginning each Wednesday morning.

Did anyone watch this? I guess WHKY is a cheap bit of air time and it is carried on cable systems in that area to a much larger potential audience than normally tunes in to WHKY I would assume. The Triad subchannel is also carried on cable systems so potential for an audience there as well.

WHKY-14 will air it again on Thursday night at 6:00.

I saw the WHKY airing last night (it was recorded sometime during the day).

Mostly it was an interview with Coach Satterfield, but it had some snippets from the weight room & the S&C Coach. We will apparently have the biggest AND strongest O-line in App football history. Those are some big boys.

Also, loved the talk about starting fast this year.

After we have some game footage I am sure that will be part of the show. Reflection on previous week .

I noticed Kelsey Sharkey did the editing. I know she did some work in front of the camera last year, but this is the first long format show I noticed she edited. I thought she did a nice job.
